Motorcycle oil and filter change in Sant Pere de Ribes
An oil and filter change is the maintenance that does the most to extend engine life. We replace the oil and the oil filter with the type and quantity your bike's manufacturer specifies, check the air filter and make sure there are no leaks. It's an hour's work, and the one job you least want to put off.

What it includes
- Draining the old oil and replacing it with the grade the manufacturer specifies for your model.
- New oil filter, and a new drain plug washer if needed.
- Air filter check: cleaned or replaced depending on its condition.
- Leak check and level check with the engine running.
When it's due
- When you reach the mileage or the time in the manual, whichever comes first.
- If the oil looks dark and thick in the sight glass, or the level drops between services.
- After a summer of hard use along the coast, or before putting the bike away for winter.
What you ask us
How many kilometres between oil changes on a motorcycle?
The manufacturer sets it for each model, usually together with a limit in months. In town, with cold starts and short trips, oil ages before you reach the mileage, which is why the calendar counts too.
Can I bring my own oil?
Tell us when you book. What matters is that it's the type and viscosity in your bike's manual; if you're not sure, we'll tell you which one it takes.
Is the air filter always replaced?
No. It's checked at every oil change and replaced when it's dirty or damaged. A clogged air filter makes the engine use more fuel and deliver less.
